Account Manager - Imaging & Print
You'll be based in our head office in Reading contacting potential
customers by telephone with occasional site visits.
Your main priorities are to; persuade customers to buy our company's
goods and services, arrange demonstrations and trials, and to make appointments
to visit, review and assess their requirements.
You will also be required to carry out market research on competitors,
suppliers and manufacturers.
Your working day will normally be spent on the telephone making and
receiving calls, during each phone call you're likely to:
Research and contact prospective clients
Follow up on all incoming leads and enquiries
Call and maintain relationships with existing customers, in particular those that are not actively visited by field sales personnel
Describe the product benefits and any special offers
Give advice about how these may benefit customers personally
Persuade customers to accept a trial period or a visit from an account manager
Gather and document information about the customer
Enter your notes into our sales system, including dates for follow up calls
Send personalised quotes and brochures by email or post
Take orders for scanners and printers, preparing paperwork and obtaining customer signatures.
Produce regular updates on activity rates and success levels
Present Twofold in and accurate and positive manner on the phone
The work is fast paced and intense, and you have only a short amount of
time to build rapport with customers and explain the features and benefits of
Previous sales experience with a proven track record of achieving targets
Full PC literacy on Microsoft software packages
Good Administration skills with a keen eye for detail
Ability to follow policies and procedures
Provide effective oral and written communication
